Ingredients
  • 1 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1/2 c butter
  • 1 tbsp dried parsley
  • 1 tbsp dried oregano
  • 2 c dry white wine
  • 36 small clams in shell, scrubbed
  • 5 cloves garlic, minced

Directions
  • Step #1 Melt butter in a large skillet over med-heat/flame.
  • Step #2 Cook garlic in butter briefly.
  • Step #3 Stir in wine, parsley, & season this with oregano, & red pepper flakes.
  • Step #4 Place clams in the wine mixture.
  • Step #5 Cover, & steam until all the clams have opened: discard any that do not open.
  • Step #6 Serve in soup bowls, & ladle broth generously over them.
