Baked Pork Chops And Sauerkraut Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 granny smith apples, peeled & sliced .
  • 1 medium onion, sliced thin .
  • 8 boneless pork chops .
  • 1 tsp caraway seeds .
  • 1/3 c brown sugar .
  • 2 tbsps butter .
  • 1 (16 oz) can sauerkraut .
  • 1 (10 1/2 oz) can condensed French onion soup

Directions
  • Step #1 Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  • Step #2 Spice up chops with salt & pepper-brown in 1 tbs.
  • Step #3 butter.
  • Step #4 Place in 9x13 baking dish.
  • Step #5 Melt remaining tbs.
  • Step #6 butter-lightly brown sliced apple-sprinkle it over chops.
  • Step #7 Cover up chops & apple with undrained sauerkraut.
  • Step #8 Separate onion into rings-sprinkle it over kraut.
  • Step #9 Sprinkle top on caraway seeds.
  • Step #10 Sprinkle top on brown sugar.
  • Step #11 Pour onion soup over all.
  • Step #12 Cover up with foil wrap-bake for 1 hr.
