- 1/2 tsp pepper .
- 4 boneless pork chops .
- 1/4 c butter .
- 6 oz water chestnuts, canned (sliced) .
- 4 oz fresh mushrooms, sliced .
- 8 oz canned peas, drained .
- 2/3 c converted white rice, uncooked .
- 1 tbsp worcestershire sauce .
- 1/2 c water .
- 1 1/4 oz onion soup mix .
- 1/2 c onions, sliced .
- 10 oz beef broth
Directions
- Step #1 In a large skillet over med-heat/flame, brown pork chops on both sides.
- Step #2 Lightly spray the slow cooker (aka crockpot) with cooking spray.
- Step #3 Place brown & white rice, peas, water chestnuts, onion, butter, & mushrooms in the slow cooker (aka crockpot).
- Step #4 Pour in water, broth, & Worcestershire sauce.
- Step #5 Stir in onion soup mix, season this with pepper, & top this with pork chops.
- Step #6 Cover up, & cook on high setting for 4-5 hrs.
