Cheesy Fiesta Chicken And Rice Bake Recipe

Ingredients
  • butter .
  • 1/3 c milk .
  • 1/3 c onions .
  • 2/3 c water .
  • 2 c success instant rice, uncooked .
  • 1 (10 1/2 oz) can campbell's Fiesta nacho cheese soup .
  • salt .
  • garlic powder .
  • 1 c shredded cheddar cheese .
  • 2/3 c chicken broth .
  • 4-6 boneless skinless chicken breasts .
  • pepper .
  • 1 c picante sauce or salsa .
  • 1 (10 1/2 oz) can cream of chicken soup (use your favorite)

Directions
  • Step #1 Preheat oven to 425F degrees.
  • Step #2 Grease an oven safe dish with butter.
  • Step #3 Mix both soups, broth, milk, water & onion in a mixing bowl & set aside.
  • Step #4 Spice up chicken with salt, pepper & garlic powder to taste.
  • Step #5 Evenly spread rice into baking dish.
  • Step #6 Pour soup mixture over rice as evenly as possible.
  • Step #7 Place chicken into pan & cover.
  • Step #8 Bake in oven for 45 mins or until chicken is no longer pink in the thickest part.
  • Step #9 Let dish stand for 3 mins to allow sauce to thicken.
  • Step #10 While dish is standing, top each chicken piece with shredded cheese & salsa.
