Egyptian Garlic Yogurt Cucumber Salad Recipe

Ingredients
  • 3 garlic cloves (crushed) .
  • 1 tbsp white vinegar .
  • salt & pepper .
  • 1/2 cucumber (grated fine) .
  • 4 oz plain yogurt (you could use a 6 oz container too, no problem) .
  • 1 tsp fresh dill (sliced- you could use dry dill, but fresh better)

Directions
  • Step #1 Empty yogurt into a small mixing bowl.
  • Step #2 Grate the half cucumber into yogurt.
  • Step #3 Using a garlic press, press the garlic into bowl.
  • Step #4 Add vinegar, sliced dill, salt & pepper to taste.
  • Step #5 Best when chilled for 30 mins or so.
  • Step #6 Keeps great in fridge for a few days.
  • Step #7 Serve with warm pita bread for dipping.
