Cashew Crunch Cookies Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 c finely sliced cashews .
  • 3/4 c firmly packed brown sugar .
  • 1 c butter .
  • 1/2 c granulated sugar .
  • 1/2 tsp cream of tartar .
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda .
  • 2 1/4 c all-purpose flour .
  • 1 egg .
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Directions
  • Step #1 Beat butter at medium speed with electric mixer.
  • Step #2 Gradually add sugars, mixing well.
  • Step #3 Add egg & vanilla extract, beat well.
  • Step #4 Combine flour, baking soda & creaqm of tartar; slowly add to creamed mixture, mixing after each addition.
  • Step #5 Stir in cashews.
  • Step #6 Drop cookie dough by rounded tsp onto lightly greased sheets.
  • Step #7 Bake at 350 degrees F for 10 to 12 mins or until lightly browned.
