Pork Chops In Sauce Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/4 tsp worcestershire sauce .
  • 1/4 tsp dry mustard .
  • 1/4 tsp celery salt .
  • 2 tsps lemon juice .
  • 1/4 tsp salt .
  • 1/8 tsp pepper .
  • 1/4 tsp paprika .
  • 1 c boiling water .
  • 1-2 tbsp butter or margarine .
  • 4 pork chops (bone in is best) .
  • 3 tbsps flour .
  • 2 tsps chicken bouillon granules

Directions
  • Step #1 Put water on to boil.
  • Step #2 Combine flour,salt, pepper, paprika & mustard in a bag.
  • Step #3 Shake chops in bag, coating well.
  • Step #4 Over medium heat, melt butter in skillet then add coated chops; brown on both sides (be careful not to cook too long, just enough to make them golden brown.
  • Step #5 ) Mix together boiled water, lemon juice, celery salt, chicken boillion, & worcestershire sauce.
  • Step #6 Pour this over the browned meat & cover.
  • Step #7 Cook until meat is tender, 20-25 mins, removing lid for last 5 mins or so to thicken sauce.
  • Step #8 (If desired, double quantities of sauce to make more of a gravy.
  • Step #9 You can also add some of the flour mixture to the liquid to make a thicker gravy.
