Peanut Butter Graham Balls Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/2 lb butter, melted .
  • 12 oz butterscotch chips .
  • For Chocolate Coating .
  • 8 oz graham cracker crumbs .
  • 1 tsp vanilla .
  • 1 lb powdered sugar .
  • 12 oz chocolate chips .
  • Centers .
  • 1 c angel flake coconut .
  • 1/2 c vegetable shortening .
  • 1 c peanut butter

Directions
  • Step #1 Combine the first six ingredients In a large-ish bowl.
  • Step #2 Form into balls about 1/2 to 3/4 inch in diameter, set out on foil wrap.
  • Step #3 If they're too large, they'll crumble.
  • Step #4 Melt shortening, chocolate chips & butterscotch chips in double boiler or over low heat/flame, stirring frequently until mixture is smooth.
  • Step #5 Remove from heat.
  • Step #6 Dip balls into chocolate mixture using toothpick or spoon; reheat chocolate as necessary to make dipping easier.
  • Step #7 Allow to cool completely before removing from foil wrap.
  • Step #8 Refrigerate in sealed container, use plastic wrap or wax paper to separate layers of chocolates.
  • Step #9 Best served chilled.
