Pao De Queijo (brazilian Cheese Bread) Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/3 c parmesan cheese, grated .
  • 1 3/4 c mild cheddar cheese, grated .
  • 3 eggs, large .
  • 1/2 c sunflower oil .
  • 3/4 c low-fat milk .
  • 16 oz manioc starch (polvilho)

Directions
  • Step #1 Bring milk & oil to a boil in a small saucepan.
  • Step #2 Add to the manioc.
  • Step #3 Mix & allow this to cool a little.
  • Step #4 Incorporate the eggs, one at a time.
  • Step #5 Add the cheese & mix well.
  • Step #6 Divide into pieces the size of a walnut or small plum.
  • Step #7 Place a little oil on the hands & round dough into balls.
  • Step #8 Arrange on a baking sheet.
  • Step #9 Bake at 375 degrees Farenheit until done, about 10 to 12 mins.
  • Step #10 Serve warm.
