Chilled Mexican Coffee Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 c brewed coffee, strong, chilled .
  • 1 pinch cayenne pepper, finely ground .
  • whipped cream, garnish .
  • bittersweet chocolate, garnish .
  • 1 oz Kahlua, liquer .
  • 1 c brewed coffee, for ice cubes .
  • 1 tsp chocolate, flaked (garnish) .
  • 1 scoop chocolate ice cream, large .
  • 2 coffee beans, chocolate, crushed (garnish)

Directions
  • Step #1 Pour one c of coffee into ice cube tray & place this in freezer until frozen.
  • Step #2 Mix the remaining c of coffee with cayenne pepper & pour this into a jar & chill in fridge, until the ice cubes are ready to use.
  • Step #3 Put three of the coffee ice cubes into mixer, next add coffee, chocolate ice cream & Kahlua, puree until all the ice is crushed.
  • Step #4 If you prefer a thicker drink add more of the coffee ice cubes at this point until the desired thickness is achieved.
  • Step #5 Pour into a tall glass & garnish with chocolate whipped cream & sprinkle with bittersweet flaked chocolate & crushed chocolate covered coffee beans.
