Ingredients
For the gravy .
2 c strong coffee .
1 oz brandy .
2-3 garlic cloves, slivered .
5 tbsps flour, may need more .
1 c cream .
3/4 c currant jelly .
6-7 lbs boneless leg of lamb .
4 tbsps sugar .
flour, for gravy .
1 tbsp salt .
For the Lamb .
4 tbsps cream .
1 tbsp dry mustard
Directions
Step #1 Make small slits in the lamb & insert the garlic slivers.
Step #2 Mix the salt & dry mustard & rub it into the meat.
Step #3 Bake the lamb at 350 degrees F.
Step #4 for 1 hr & then baste with a mixture of the coffee, sugar, the 4 tbsps of cream, & the brandy.
Step #5 Bake another 2 to 2 1/2 hrs, to your liking.
Step #6 To make the gravy, scrape the drippings from the roasting pan; add flour (more if needed), 1 c of cream & the currant jelly & mix.
