Chicken And Mushroom Potpie Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/8 tsp salt .
  • 1/4 tsp fresh ground black pepper .
  • 1 (10 1/2 oz) can condensed cream of chicken soup .
  • 1 c fresh mushrooms, quartered .
  • 0 put in the fridged pie dough .
  • 1/4 tsp salt .
  • 1 tsp dried rubbed sage .
  • cooking spray .
  • 1 1/4 c water .
  • 8 oz chicken breast tenders, cut into bite size pieces .
  • 1 1/2 c frozen mixed vegetables .
  • 2 tbsps all-purpose flour

Directions
  • Step #1 Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Step #2 Cut 3 (4") circles of dough using a bowl or ramekin as a guide.
  • Step #3 Place dough circles on a baking sheet coated with cooking spray.
  • Step #4 Lightly coat dough with cooking spray; sprinkle evenly with 1/8 tsps salt.
  • Step #5 Pierce top of dough circles with a fork.
  • Step #6 Bake dough at 425F degrees for 8 mins or until golden.
  • Step #7 Combine flour, 1/4 tsps salt, sage, & pepper in a zip-top plastic bag; add chicken.
  • Step #8 Seal bag, & toss to coat.
  • Step #9 Heat a large nonstick skillet coated with cooking spray over medium-high heat.
  • Step #10 Add chicken mixture; cook 5 mins, browning on all sides.
  • Step #11 Stir in water, scraping pan to loosen brown bits.
  • Step #12 Stir in vegetables, mushrooms, & soup; bring to a boil.
  • Step #13 Reduce heat, & cook for 10 mins.
  • Step #14 Spoon 1 c chicken mixture into each of 3 (1 c) ramekins or bowls; top each serving with 1 pie crust.
