• 3/4 c sugar .
• 1/3 c butter or margarine, melted .
• Topping .
• 3/4 c brown sugar, packed .
• 1/2 c all-purpose flour .
• ice cream, if desired .
• 1/2 c quick-cooking oats .
• 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg .
• 1/3 c butter or margarine, softened .
• 3/4 tsp ground cinnamon .
• 4 medium tart apples, sliced .
• 3/4 tsp ground cinnamon .
• 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg .
• 2 tbsps flour

• Step #1 Heat oven to 375°F Grease bottom & sides of 8-inch square pan.
• Step #2 Let apples soak in the melted butter a few mins.
• Step #3 Combine sugar, flour, cinnamon & nutmeg in a bowl; pour over the apples & mix together.
• Step #4 Spread apples in pan.
• Step #5 In medium bowl, stir remaining ingredients except cream until well mixed; sprinkle it over apples.
• Step #6 Bake about 30 mins or until topping is golden brown.
• Step #7 Serve warm with ice cream.
