Seashells' Crock Pot Meatball Stew Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/2 tsp dried basil .
  • 4 carrots, cut in chunks .
  • 1 1/2 tbsps vinegar .
  • 1/2 c water .
  • 1/2 c catsup .
  • 1/4 tsp pepper .
  • 4 potatoes, cut in 1-inch cubes .
  • 1 lb lean ground beef .
  • 1 onion, cut in chunks .
  • 1 1/2 tsps salt

Directions
  • Step #1 Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • Step #2 Combine ground beef with 1 tbsp of salt & 1/4 tsp pepper & mix well.
  • Step #3 Shape into 1" inch meatballs.
  • Step #4 Bake in oven 15 mins or until browned.
  • Step #5 Place the potatoes, carrots & onion into the crock pot.
  • Step #6 Top with meatballs.
  • Step #7 Combine catsup with vinegar, basil & remaining salt & pepper to taste.
  • Step #8 Pour over meatballs.
  • Step #9 Cover up & cook on low 4 to 5 hrs or till veggies are done.
