1 bunch oak leaf lettuce (or any other green you prefer) .
salt (optional) .
1-2 tsp butter .
8-10 cherry tomatoes, halved
Directions
Step #1 Shred rinsed lettuce & arugula & arrange on a plate (this salad looks prettier on a flat surface, so for presentation, use a plate rather than a bowl).
Step #2 Halve cherry tomatoes, arrange on top of salad.
Step #3 Mix olive oil & balsamic vinegar, drizzle on top of the salad.
Step #4 Spice up with salt & pepper, if you prefer.
Step #5 Peel pear(s) & cut into small cubes.
Step #6 Heat butter in a pan & cook pear cubes until warm & soft.
Step #7 Let cool a little & pour on top of the salad.
Step #8 Slice halloumi cheese (soak in cold water first for 5-20 mins if you want to reduce the saltiness).
Step #9 Heat butter in a pan & fry the slices until browned on both sides; arrange on top of the salad.
Step #10 Serve as soon as possible while the cheese is still warm.
