Teriyaki Orange Chicken Over Rice Recipe

Ingredients
  • 4 small boneless skinless chicken breasts .
  • 1 whole orange .
  • 1 oz japanese dried chilies (optional) .
  • 2 yellow bell peppers .
  • 24 oz yoshida's original teriyaki sauce

Directions
  • Step #1 Before starting the chicken portion of the meal I recommend getting your white rice started.
  • Step #2 Next, slice chicken breasts in to bite size pieces.
  • Step #3 Place chicken pieces in a bowl & add Yoshida's until it covers the chicken- add extra if you like to have leftover sauce to poor on rice.
  • Step #4 (If using chili peppers, add about 5-8 of these to the marinade now.
  • Step #5 Leave whole for a milder spice or for a spicier flavor crack in 1/2, either disposing of seeds or adding seeds as well to taste).
  • Step #6 Slice bell pepper in to long strips (stir fry style)- add to marinading chicken.
  • Step #7 Cut orange in 1/2.
  • Step #8 Slice one 1/2 & then cut the slices in to 1/2's.
  • Step #9 Remove any seeds.
  • Step #10 Place orange slices in marinade.
  • Step #11 Squeeze the other 1/2 of the orange in marinade.
  • Step #12 Now, grate all around the rind of the leftover 1/2 in to the sauce.
  • Step #13 Use your nose as a guide- can you smell all of the elements? Now you are ready.
  • Step #14 Heat pan or wok on medium high heat until hot.
  • Step #15 Add chicken & bell pepper marinade mixture.
  • Step #16 Cook on medium high until chicken pieces are done (approx.
  • Step #17 10 mins).
  • Step #18 Right about now your rice should be done.
