Thai Chicken Curry Pastries Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 tsps garlic, finely sliced .
  • 1/2 c onions, finely sliced .
  • 3 tbsps oyster sauce .
  • 500 g ground chicken .
  • 2 tsps curry powder .
  • 18 phyllo pastry sheets .
  • 1/4 tsp ground black pepper .
  • 1 tbsp oil .
  • 3 tbsps white sugar .
  • 1 tbsp butter, melted .
  • 1 c potatoes, cooked & cubed

Directions
  • Step #1 Heat oil in wok or frying pan, add in onion & garlic, cooking over low medium heat until golden.
  • Step #2 Raise heat to medium high & add in chicken, stir frying until it changes color.
  • Step #3 Add oyster sauce & pepper, stir & cover, reducing to low heat for 5 mins.
  • Step #4 Stir in potatoes, & curry powder, sugar, cover & cook 5 more mins.
  • Step #5 Remove from heat & allow this to cool.
  • Step #6 Lay out phyllo dough strips, lightly coat with melted butter, three strips thick, & place filling in the middle.
  • Step #7 Fold into triangle or square shape, or whatever shape you like.
  • Step #8 Bake in oven at 375 for 10 mins on baking sheet, or until lightly browned.
