Chicken Noodle Casserolei Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 pint sour cream
  • 1/4 c butter
  • 1 (8 oz) package uncooked egg noodles
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 3 c shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 3 (10 oz) cans chicken chunks
  • 2 (10.75 oz) cans condensed cream of chicken & mushroom soup
  • 4 oz buttery round crackers, crushed

Directions
  • Step #1 Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Step #2 In medium skillet, fry onion in butter until softened.
  • Step #3 Pour into 9x13 baking dish.
  • Step #4 In large bowl, mix chicken chunks, sour cream & soup.
  • Step #5 Stir in 2 c of shredded cheddar.
  • Step #6 Stir in uncooked egg noodles.
  • Step #7 Pour mixture over onions in baking dish.
  • Step #8 Top with crumbled crackers & remaining cheddar.
  • Step #9 Bake 30 mins, or until top is golden & noodles are soft.
