1 (4 oz) can green chilies or 4 oz anaheim chilies .
3 tbsps sliced fresh cilantro .
1/2 tsp dried chives .
1 tbsp mayonnaise .
1 pinch salt & pepper
Directions
Step #1 Cakes:.
Step #2 mix all ingredients (except butter) in a bowl, consistency should be moldable when squeezed (hold shape) if otherwise add either more liquid or dry ingredients as necessary.
Step #3 Refridgerate for 1/2 to 1 hr.
Step #4 Pat & form into cakes
Fry on a skillet or In a large-ish pan in 2 Tblsp.
Step #5 of Butter (more or less) set to medium low to medium heat.
Step #6 For my electric skillet this is 300F deg.
Step #7 F.
Step #8 Fry until golden, approximately 5 mins per side.
Step #9 Serve with sauce on top and/or to the side of the cakes while still warm or even when cold.
Step #10 Garnish can be a bit of lime & cilantro leaves.
