Granola Flax Apple Crisp Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/4 c tapioca flour .
  • 1 tbsp butter .
  • 6 c apples, sliced .
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon .
  • 1/4 c flax seeds, golden .
  • 1/2 c gluten-free granola cereal .
  • 1 tsp stevia .
  • 1 tsp stevia .
  • 1/4 c brown rice flour .
  • 2 tbsps lemon juice

Directions
  • Step #1 Preheat oven to 350F degrees.
  • Step #2 Place apples in a buttered 2-quart casserole dish.
  • Step #3 Sprinkle top with stevia & lemon juice.
  • Step #4 In a small bowl, flour, mix granola , stevia, cinnamon & flax.
  • Step #5 Cut butter into mixture until the mixture is crumbly.
  • Step #6 Sprinkle top over the apples.
  • Step #7 Bake for 40 mins or until apples are tender.
  • Step #8 If you are gluten intolerant, look on the label of the granola you are using to make sure wheat hasn't been added.
  • Step #9 The flax seed gives a nice, nutty crunch.
