Hot Artichoke-spinach Dip Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/2 c frozen spinach, thawed & sliced .
  • 8 oz cream cheese .
  • 1/2 c parmesan cheese, grated .
  • 1 c artichoke hearts, sliced .
  • crackers or sliced toasted French bread .
  • 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes .
  • 1/4 tsp salt .
  • 1/8 tsp garlic powder .
  • 1 dash ground pepper

Directions
  • Step #1 Simmer the spinach & artichoke hearts in a c of water in a small saucepan over med heat until tender, about 10 mins.
  • Step #2 Drain in a colander when done.
  • Step #3 Heat the cream cheese in a bowl in the microwave for 1 min (heat just until hot).
  • Step #4 Add spinach & artichoke hearts to the cream cheese & stir well.
  • Step #5 Stir in the parmesan, salt, pepper flakes, garlic powder & ground pepper combining well.
  • Step #6 Serve hot with crackers or toasted bread for dipping.
