White Lasagne Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/2 c milk .
  • 1 1/2 lbs chicken breasts, boneless & skinless, cubed .
  • 9 lasagna noodles, cooked .
  • 2 tbsps italian seasoning .
  • 1/2 onion, sliced .
  • 1 c chicken broth .
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch .
  • 15 oz ricotta cheese .
  • 8 garlic cloves, minced .
  • 1 tbsp olive oil .
  • 3/4 lb mozzarella cheese, shredded .
  • 10 oz frozen spinach, thawed .
  • 2 tsps sausage seasoning .
  • 3/4 lb farmer cheese, shredded

Directions
  • Step #1 In pan, saute chicken, sausage seasoning, onion & garlic until chicken is cooked.
  • Step #2 Stir in chicken broth, italian seasoning, corn starch, & milk & bring to a simmer until it begins to thicken.
  • Step #3 Stir in spinach.
  • Step #4 Line bottom of greased 9x13" pan with 3 lasagne noodles.
  • Step #5 Top with 1/3 chicken mixture, & 1/3 ricotta cheese.
  • Step #6 Top with 1/3 of the mozarella & farmer cheeses.
  • Step #7 Repeat layers 2 more times, ending with cheeses.
  • Step #8 Cover up pan with foil wrap.
  • Step #9 Bake at 350 for 45 min - 1 hr.
  • Step #10 Remove foil wrap & bake for 10 more mins until cheese is melted & bubbly.
  • Step #11 Let sit for 10 mins before serving.
  • Step #12 *I use Rice Lasagne Noodles & Soy Milk.
  • Step #13 You can substitute Cottage Cheese for the Ricotta & Cheddar for the Farmer Cheese if desired.
  • Step #14 You can also substitute Tofu for Chicken.
