Angel Cake Surprise Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 (15 oz) can peaches, sliced .
  • 1 (6 oz) package vanilla instant pudding mix .
  • 8 oz frozen whipped topping, thawed .
  • 1 (10 inch) angel food cake (tube pan) .
  • 3 c milk (to prepare pudding) .
  • 1 (20 oz) canned pineapple, drained .
  • 3 bananas .
  • 1 (3 oz) package strawberry gelatin

Directions
  • Step #1 Break up the angel food cake into bite-size pieces.
  • Step #2 Place into 9X13inch pan.
  • Step #3 glass is better).
  • Step #4 Dissolve 1 package flavored gelatin in 1 c water & pour over cake pieces, spreading to the edges of the pan.
  • Step #5 Drain the peaches & pour the juice over the gelatin over the gelatin in the pan.
  • Step #6 Slice bananas on top of the gelatin in the pan.
  • Step #7 Arrange peach slices on top of the bananas slices.
  • Step #8 If desired, add crushed pineapple.
  • Step #9 For the pudding: Beat the pudding mix into 3 c cold milk with wire whisk about 2 mins.
  • Step #10 Spread topping on top of the pudding.
  • Step #11 Try to keep the layers separate.
  • Step #12 Refrigerate at least 2 hrs before serving.
