Brussels Sprouts Braised In Cream Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/2 tsp salt .
  • 1 c heavy cream .
  • 1 pinch ground fresh nutmeg .
  • ground black pepper .
  • 1 lb small Brussels sprouts, firm & bright green & rinsed with stem ends & discolored leaves removed

Directions
  • Step #1 Bring sprouts, cream, & salt to a boil over medium-high heat.
  • Step #2 Lower heat, & let simmer until knife tip into center meets no resistance, cover, about 10 -12 mins.
  • Step #3 Spice up with nutmeg & pepper & serve.
