Step #1 Heat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Step #2 Grease a 9 x 13 inch pan.
Step #3 In a large bowl, cherry pie filling, mix cake mix, almond extract, & 2 eggs by hand; stir until well mixed.
Step #4 Pour batter into prepared pan.
Step #5 Bake for 25 to 30 mins, or until it tests done.
Step #6 Cool.
Step #7 In a small saucepan, mix sugar, butter or margarine, & milk.
Step #8 Boil, stirring constantly, for 2 mins.
Step #9 Remove from heat, & stir in the chocolate chips until smooth.
Step #10 Immediately pour over partially cooled cake.
