Double Chocolate Pudding Recipe

Ingredients
  • 3/4 c granulated sugar .
  • 1 1/2 tsps vanilla extract .
  • 3 oz semisweet chocolate .
  • 1/4 tsp salt .
  • 3 tbsps cornstarch .
  • 2 c light cream .
  • 1/3 c unsweetened cocoa powder

Directions
  • Step #1 In a medium saucepan,cocoa powder, cornstarch, whisk together sugar, salt.
  • Step #2 Gradually whisk in 1 c of the cream until smooth.
  • Step #3 Then whisk in the remaining c cream.
  • Step #4 Set the pan over med-heat/flame & cook, whisking constantly until mixture thickens & comes to a boil, about 5 mins.
  • Step #5 Continue to whisk & boil for 1 min.
  • Step #6 Remove from heat & add chocolate & vanilla.
  • Step #7 Let stand 5 mins till chocolate melts.
  • Step #8 Then carefully stir until smooth.
  • Step #9 Let cool 20 mines.
  • Step #10 Can be served warm & soft or chilled for 30 mins or up to 8 hrs.
