Raspberry Cream Cheese Brownie Pie Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 c sugar, divided .
  • 1 (10 oz) package semi-sweet chocolate chips, divided (raspberry flavored) .
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder .
  • 3 eggs .
  • 2 c all-purpose flour .
  • 1 c butter or margarine, softened .
  • 1 (12 oz) jar seedless raspberry jam .
  • 11 oz cream cheese, softened .
  • 2 tsps vanilla, divided .
  • 1 egg

Directions
  • Step #1 Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Step #2 In a large bowl, beat butter & 1 2/3 c sugar until fluffy.
  • Step #3 Beat in 3 eggs, 1 at at time.
  • Step #4 In a small bowl, mix flour & baking powder.
  • Step #5 In another small bowl, microwave 1 2/3 c chocolate chips @ 80% power for 2 mins, stirring after 1 min.
  • Step #6 Stir melted chocolate into creamed butter/sugar mix.
  • Step #7 Add dry ingredients to creamed mixture.
  • Step #8 Stir until well mixed.
  • Step #9 Line a 9" spring form pan with aluminum foil wrap & grease foil wrap.
  • Step #10 Spread chocolate mixture into prepared pan.
  • Step #11 Bake 40 mins.
  • Step #12 In a small bowl, microwave remaining 2/3 c chocolate ships on 80% power for 2 mins, stirring after 1 min.
  • Step #13 In a large bowl, beat cream cheese & 1/3 c sugar until smooth.
  • Step #14 Add 1 egg & remaining 1 tsps vanilla.
  • Step #15 Beat until smooth.
  • Step #16 Stir in melted chocolate.
  • Step #17 Gently spread cream cheese misture over warm brownie layer.
  • Step #18 Bake 15 miniutes or until cream cheese mixture is set.
  • Step #19 Cool in pan on a wire rack.
  • Step #20 Cover up & chill in the fridge.
  • Step #21 To serve, melt raspberry jam in a heavy small saucepan over med-heat/flame.
  • Step #22 Remove from heat, cool 10 mins.
  • Step #23 Remove sides of springform pan.
  • Step #24 Spoon melted raspberry jam over each piece of brown pie.
