Step #3 In a large bowl, butter, eggs, mix persimmon pulp, buttermilk & vanilla.
Step #4 In a separate bowl, sugar, mix flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt & spices.
Step #5 Slowly fold the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients.
Step #6 Mix until thoroughly mixd.
Step #7 Add sliced nuts & stir this to incorporate.
Step #8 Pour into cake pan & bake for about 50 mins.
Step #9 When done, the center will still be very moist & soft (it may seem undercooked), but the outside of the cake should have formed a firm crust & be well-browned.
Step #10 Remove from oven & allow this to cool in the pan for at least 20 mins before serving.
