Frozen Butter Pecan Crunch Bars Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 c graham cracker crumbs .
  • 2 (3 oz) packages vanilla instant pudding mix .
  • 1 (8 oz) container cool whip frozen whipped topping, thawed .
  • 2 c milk .
  • 1/2 c melted butter or margarine .
  • 1/4 c sugar (optional) .
  • 4 (1 1/2 oz) Heath candy bars, coarsley crushed (or use as many as desired) .
  • 1 quart butter pecan ice cream, slightly softened

Directions
  • Step #1 Prepare a 13 x 9-inch ungreased glass Pyrex baking dish.
  • Step #2 In a bowl mix the graham cracker crumbs with sugar & melted butter or margarine; mix well.
  • Step #3 Pat the mixture into the botom of the prepared baking dish; chill until completey cool.
  • Step #4 In a mixing bowl beat the two vanilla pudding mixes with 2 c milk until well mixed (about 1 min).
  • Step #5 Fold in the softened ice cream & Cool Whip topping until completely mixed.
  • Step #6 Spoon over the crust.
  • Step #7 Sprinkle top with sliced candy bars.
  • Step #8 Freeze until firm.
  • Step #9 Thaw about 15 mins before slicing.
