Lamb Curry Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 medium onion, finely sliced .
  • 2 tbsps coriander .
  • 1 (14 oz) can canned tomatoes .
  • 500 g sliced lamb .
  • 1 tbsp finely sliced ginger .
  • 1 tsp garam masala .
  • 2 tbsps oil .
  • 300F ml water .
  • 2 tbsps curry paste .
  • salt & pepper, taste

Directions
  • Step #1 quickly fry the lamb in half of the the oil until browned & set aside.
  • Step #2 carefully brown the onions in the rest of the oil until transparent.
  • Step #3 return the lamb to the pan with the onions.
  • Step #4 add the curry paste & fry for a min or two.
  • Step #5 Add the tin of tomatoes & the 300ml of water.
  • Step #6 Simmer on the stove top for approximately 1 1/2 hrs, or until the sauce is thickened & the lamb is tender.
  • Step #7 Just before serving add the finely sliced coriander & the garam masala.
  • Step #8 Add salt & pepper if necessary.
