Chocolate Butter Cream Frosting Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 c semisweet chocolate chips
  • 4 egg yolks
  • 1/2 c butter
  • 1/4 c strong, hot, brewed coffee
  • 2 tbsps dark rum
  • 2 tbsps confectioners' sugar

Directions
  • Step #1 Put chocolate chips into a dry mixer, & process into powder.
  • Step #2 Stop mixer & scrape chocolate away from the sides & bottom.
  • Step #3 Pour in the hot coffee & mix until smooth.
  • Step #4 Add the sugar, mix until smooth, butter & rum, yolks, about 15 seconds.
