Stir-fried Chicken With Basil And Chilies Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 red chilies, finely sliced .
  • 10-12 leaves Thai basil .
  • 2-3 tbsps fish sauce .
  • 1 lb chickens, cut into bite sized pieces .
  • 2-4 red chilies, seeded & sliced .
  • 20 leaves Thai basil, deep fried (optional) .
  • 2 tsps dark soy sauce .
  • 3 tbsps vegetable oil .
  • 4 garlic cloves, sliced .
  • 1 tsp sugar

Directions
  • Step #1 Heat the oil in a wok or large frying pan & swirl it around.
  • Step #2 Add the garlic & chilies & stir fry until golden.
  • Step #3 Add the chicken & stir fry until it changes color.
  • Step #4 Spice up with fish sauce, soy sauce & sugar.
  • Step #5 Continue to stir fry for 3-4 mins or until the chicken is cooked.
  • Step #6 Stir in the fresh Thai basil leaves.
  • Step #7 Garnish with sliced chilies & the deep-fried basil, if using.
