Japanese Cabbage Salad Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 c noodles, dry (iciban) .
  • 1/2 tsp hoisin sauce .
  • 1 tbsp sugar .
  • 1/2 tsp salt .
  • 1/4 c sunflower seeds (unsalted) .
  • 2 tbsps sesame seeds (toasted) .
  • 2 c chow mein noodles (dry) .
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced .
  • 1/2 c vegetable oil .
  • 2 c bean sprouts .
  • 1/2 tsp sesame oil .
  • Topping .
  • Dressing .
  • 4 tbsps soya sauce .
  • 4 c raw green cabbage (shreded) .
  • 1/4 c rice vinegar .
  • 2 c mushrooms, sliced .
  • pepper .
  • 1 tbsp parsley .
  • 4 green onions, sliced

Directions
  • Step #1 Mix all dressing ingredients together in shakable jar best if put in the fridged overnight or until cold.
  • Step #2 Toss salad with dressing & add dry noodles to top of salad.
  • Step #3 Serve as soon as possible.
