Wholesome Granola Bar Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 c old fashioned oats .
  • 1/2 c dried cranberries .
  • 1/3 c slivered almonds .
  • 2 egg whites .
  • 2 tbsps vegetable oil .
  • 1/3 c honey .
  • 1/2 c raisins .
  • 1 1/2 c low-fat granola .
  • 1/4 c firmly packed brown sugar .
  • 1/2 c whole wheat flour .
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon

Directions
  • Step #1 Butter or spray 8x8 inch baking pan.
  • Step #2 Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Step #3 Combine granola, cranberries, flour, raisins, almonds, oatmeal, & cinnamon in large mixing bowl.
  • Step #4 In smaller bowl, lightly beat egg whites.
  • Step #5 Stir in honey, brown sugar, & oil.
  • Step #6 Stir in honey mixture into dry ingrediants until all coated.
  • Step #7 Press evenly into pan.
  • Step #8 Bake 20-25 mins or until golden brown.
  • Step #9 Let cool fully then cut into bars.
