Cheesy Rosemary Potatoes Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/8 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 tsp dried rosemary, crushed
  • 1/4 c dry bread crumbs
  • 1 medium onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 tbsp butter or margarine, melted
  • 2 c shredded Cheddar cheese, divided
  • 1/2 tsp grated lemon peel
  • 4 large potatoes, peeled & sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp seasoned salt
  • 1 tbsp olive or vegetable oil

Directions
  • Step #1 In a large skillet or saucepan, saute onion & garlic in oil until tender.
  • Step #2 Add potatoes, seasoned salt, pepper & lemon peel.
  • Step #3 Remove from the heat.
  • Step #4 Spoon half into a greased 1-1/2-qt.
  • Step #5 baking dish.
  • Step #6 Sprinkle top with 1 c cheese.
  • Step #7 Repeat layers.
  • Step #8 Combine bread crumbs, butter & rosemary; sprinkle it over cheese.
  • Step #9 Cover & bake this at 400F degrees F for 40 mins.
  • Step #10 Uncover & bake 20 mins longer or until potatoes are tender.
