Thai Burgers With Cilantro Mayo Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1-1 1/4 lb ground chuck .
  • 3 tbsps light mayonnaise .
  • 1 lime, juice of, divided .
  • coarse salt .
  • 4-5 whole wheat hamburger buns, split .
  • 4-5 romaine lettuce leaves .
  • 5 tbsps bottled thai peanut sauce, divided .
  • 2 tbsps cilantro leaves, sliced .
  • 2 tsps garlic, minced .
  • pepper .
  • 1 tsp ginger, minced .
  • 2 green onions, sliced

Directions
  • Step #1 In a large, ginger, 3 tbsps peanut sauce, mix the beef, garlic, bowl, 1/2 of the lime juice, onion, & salt & pepper to taste.
  • Step #2 Mix well.
  • Step #3 Shape the meat mixture into 4 or 5 patties.
  • Step #4 Place the patties directly on the grill.
  • Step #5 Grill for 10-13 mins or until cooked through, flipping halfway through grilling.
  • Step #6 Meanwhile, in a small bowl, mix the mayonnaise, remaining 2 tbsps of peanut sauce, remaining lime juice & cilantro.
  • Step #7 Lightly toast the buns & serve the hamburgers on the buns with lettuce & a dollup of the mayonnaise.
