Individual Pepper Pizza Recipe

Ingredients
  • 3 tbsps red onions, sliced thin .
  • 1/2 large red pepper, sliced .
  • 1 tsp balsamic vinegar .
  • 1 whole wheat pita bread (round) .
  • 2 green olives, sliced .
  • 1/4 c monterey jack pepper cheese .
  • 1/2 tsp garlic, minced

Directions
  • Step #1 Preheat your broiler.
  • Step #2 Heat a nonstick skillet(or use olive oil) over med-heat/flame.
  • Step #3 Saute onion, garlic, & pepper until softened - approximately 3 mins.
  • Step #4 Turn off the heat & add balsamic vinegar.
  • Step #5 Place pita on a baking sheet & top this with the cooked vegetables.
  • Step #6 Add cheese & olive slices.
  • Step #7 Broil until cheese is melted; be sure to monitor it closely! I like mine browned & bubbly:).
