Green Pasta Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 waxy potatoes, peeled & cut into 1-inch cubes .
  • pepper .
  • 8 oz bow tie pasta .
  • 1/2 c pesto sauce .
  • 8 oz green beans, trimmed & halved .
  • 1 tbsp salt

Directions
  • Step #1 Peel & cut 2 waxy potatoes into 1-inch cubes; place this In a large-ish pot of water; bring to a boil.
  • Step #2 Add 1 tbsp salt & bow tie pasta; return to a boil; cook 2 mins.
  • Step #3 Add 8 oz trimmed & halved green beans.
  • Step #4 Return to a boil; cook this until vegetables are tender & pasta is al dente, about 6 mins.
  • Step #5 Drain; toss with 1/2 c Pesto; season this with salt & pepper.
  • Step #6 Serve warm or at about room temp.
