Fruited Chicken Salad (no Grapes) Recipe

Ingredients
  • 3 c cooked chicken, cut in cubes .
  • 1 (11 oz) can mandarin oranges, drained well .
  • 1/2 tsp salt .
  • 1/8 tsp ground marjoram .
  • 3/4 c mayonnaise .
  • 1/2 c slivered almonds .
  • 1 c celery, finely sliced .
  • 1 (8 3/4 oz) can crushed pineapple, drained well

Directions
  • Step #1 Combine chicken, oranges, celery, pineapple & almonds.
  • Step #2 Chill thoroughly.
  • Step #3 Blend together mayonnaise, salt & marjoram.
  • Step #4 Add to chicken mixture.
  • Step #5 Toss together lightly to coat all ingredients.
  • Step #6 Serve on crisp lettuce leaves or sandwich between slices of raisin bread.
