Nana Mae’s Oatmeal Cookies Recipe

Ingredients

1 tsp vanilla .
1 c butter .
1 c sliced nuts .
1 c raisins or chocolate chips .
1/2 tsp salt .
1 3/4 c sifted flour .
3/4 c sugar .
1 tsp baking soda .
3/4 c brown sugar .
2 eggs, beated .
2 c oatmeal

Directions

Step #1 Cream butter & sugars well -- till light & flufy.
Step #2 Add eggs & vanilla.
Step #3 Mix well.
Step #4 Add flour sifted with the salt & soda.
Step #5 Add oats & raisins.
Step #6 Drop by tsps onto a GREASED cookie sheet.
Step #7 Bake at 350 degrees 12 - 15 mins.
Step #8 (Less if you like soft cookies).
