New England Pierogi Dinner Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 tbsps butter .
  • 1 (12 oz) box frozen potato pierogies (mini potato & cheddar) .
  • 8 oz low-fat kielbasa, sliced .
  • 1/2 head green cabbage, quartered .
  • 2 ears corn, each cut in thirds .
  • fresh parsley, sliced as garnish .
  • 1 tsp Old Bay Spice uping

Directions
  • Step #1 Bring 1 c water & the seasoning to a boil in a Dutch Oven.
  • Step #2 Meanwhile, defrost pierogies in the microwave (about 2 mins).
  • Step #3 Add cabbage, corn, kielbasa & 1/2 tbsps butter to Dutch Oven when water is boiling.
  • Step #4 Cover up & cook 10 mins, turning ingredients once or twice to avoid sticking.
  • Step #5 Cabbage & corn should be tender.
  • Step #6 Add pierogies & remaining tbsps butter, toss to mix.
  • Step #7 Garnish with parsley.
