Kielbasa (smoked Sausage) Roll-ups Recipe

Ingredients
  • 8 oz Pillsbury Refrigerated Crescent Dinner Rolls .
  • 1 lb kielbasa or hillshire farm smoked sausage (Lite) .
  • 1 medium yellow onion, sliced thin & caramelized in (optional) .
  • 1 tbsp butter (optional) .
  • 1 tsp Dijon-horseradish mustard .
  • 1/4 c light butter, melted

Directions
  • Step #1 Preheat oven 350 degrees.
  • Step #2 Combine melted butter & mustard thoroughly.
  • Step #3 Open package of rolls onto a sheet of waxed paper & separate into 8 pieces.
  • Step #4 (I use a pizza cutter along the perforated markings for this step.
  • Step #5 ).
  • Step #6 Brush each piece with the butter/mustard mixture.
  • Step #7 (You'll have some left-set aside for last step.
  • Step #8 ).
  • Step #9 Add caramelized onions.
  • Step #10 (Optional).
  • Step #11 Cut sausage into 8 equal sections.
  • Step #12 Place one sausage on each piece of dough on it's widest end.
  • Step #13 Carefully roll until the pointed end is on bottom.
  • Step #14 (Pinch & tuck sides in.
  • Step #15 ).
  • Step #16 Place pockets (seam side down) on ungreased baking sheet.
  • Step #17 Brush tops with remaining butter/mustard mixture.
  • Step #18 Bake 15-20 mins or until golden brown in color.
