Step #1 Mix the paprika, brown sugar, dry mustard, garlic power, & 3 T salt together in a small bowl.
Step #2 Rub the spice mix all over the pork & marinate, covered, in the refrigerator for at least 1 hr or up to overnight.
Step #3 Preheat the oven to 300°.
Step #4 Put the pork in a roasting pan & bake for about 6 hrsuntil the inside temperature reaches 170° & the roast is falling apart.
Step #5 Meanwhile, mix the vinegar, mustard, cayenne, ketchup, brown sugar, for barbecue sauce, salt, garlic, & pepper in a saucepan over med-heat/flame.
Step #6 Simmer carefully, stirring, for 10 mins until the sugar dissolves.
Step #7 Allow the meat to rest for about 10 mins after removing from oven.
Step #8 While still warm, take 2 forks & "pull" the meat to form shreds.
Step #9 Place the shredded pork in a bowl & pour 1/2 of the sauce on the shredded pork & mix well to coat.
Step #10 Serve on hamburger buns with remaining sauce on the side.
