Beef And Pasta Mushroom Soup Recipe

Ingredients
  • 6 c hot water .
  • 1/8-1/4 tsp black pepper .
  • 1/2 tsp dried basil, crushed .
  • 1 (4 oz) can mushroom stems & pieces, drained .
  • 1 (6 3/4 oz) box Hamburger Helper mix for beef pasta .
  • 1/2 tsp salt .
  • 1/2 c sliced onions .
  • 1 lb beef roast, cut into 1-inch pieces .
  • 2 tsps dried parsley

Directions
  • Step #1 In a 4 quart Dutch oven, cook the beef & onions until done.
  • Step #2 Drain any fat or liquid that remains.
  • Step #3 Stir in hot water, salt, basil, Sauce Mix, pepper & garlic.
  • Step #4 Heat to boiling, stirring constantly.
  • Step #5 Reduce heat.
  • Step #6 Cover up; simmer 10 mins, stirring every once in awhile.
  • Step #7 Stir in uncooked pasta & mushrooms.
  • Step #8 Cover up; cook 10 mins longer.
  • Step #9 Stir in parsley.
