Ingredients
6 c hot water .
1/8-1/4 tsp black pepper .
1/2 tsp dried basil, crushed .
1 (4 oz) can mushroom stems & pieces, drained .
1 (6 3/4 oz) box Hamburger Helper mix for beef pasta .
1/2 tsp salt .
1/2 c sliced onions .
1 lb beef roast, cut into 1-inch pieces .
2 tsps dried parsley
Directions
Step #1 In a 4 quart Dutch oven, cook the beef & onions until done.
Step #2 Drain any fat or liquid that remains.
Step #3 Stir in hot water, salt, basil, Sauce Mix, pepper & garlic.
Step #4 Heat to boiling, stirring constantly.
Step #5 Reduce heat.
Step #6 Cover up; simmer 10 mins, stirring every once in awhile.
Step #7 Stir in uncooked pasta & mushrooms.
Step #8 Cover up; cook 10 mins longer.
Step #9 Stir in parsley.
