Ingredients
  • 1 (8 3/4 oz) can pineapple tidbits .
  • 1/4 tsp salt .
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch .
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice .
  • 2 tbsps brown sugar .
  • 1 tbsp unsalted butter .
  • 1 (16 oz) can beets, sliced, drained

Directions
  • Step #1 In saucepan mix sugar, cornstarch & salt.
  • Step #2 Stir in pineapple, cooking & stirring until mixture thickens & bubbles.
  • Step #3 Add butter, lemon juice & beets.
  • Step #4 Cook over med-heat/flame about 5 mins, until heated through.
