Ingredients
1 c flour .
1 c milk .
1 tsp salt .
4 eggs .
1 tsp sugar .
butter .
1 tbsp butter, melted
Directions
Step #1 Preheat oven to 400F degrees F.
Step #2 Beat eggs in a medium sized bowl until light & fluffy.
Step #3 Add milk & 1 TBSP butter, mixing well.
Step #4 Combine dry ingredients; add to egg mixture, & beat until smooth.
Step #5 Butter 6 custard c generously.
Step #6 Set the c in a jellyroll pan, & place this in a 400F F degree oven 5 mins before filling.
Step #7 Remove from oven.
Step #8 Spoon batter evenly into the c.
Step #9 Bake at 400F F for 25 mins; reduce the temperature to 350 F & bake an extra 20-25 mins.
Step #10 Turn off heat, & allow to stand 5 - 10 mins.
Step #11 (They should be extra large, empty crusty shells.
Step #12 ).
Step #13 Serve hot with butter, jam or jelly.
