Creamy Chicken Hash Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 1/2 tsps cornstarch .
  • 1/2 c green peas .
  • 1 1/2 c chicken stock .
  • 1/2 c corn .
  • 1/4 c milk .
  • 2 medium sized carrots, sliced .
  • 2 chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch pieces .
  • salt & pepper .
  • 2 tsps oil .
  • 1 small onion, sliced

Directions
  • Step #1 Sautée onions & carrots in oil over med-heat/flame for about 5 mins.
  • Step #2 Add chicken & let it begin to brown.
  • Step #3 Add chicken stock, cover, turn heat to low & let simmer about 10 mins.
  • Step #4 Mix corn starch with milk to make slurry, then bring heat back up to medium on skillet, adding the slurry.
  • Step #5 Let thicken for 1-2 mins, & let cook another 2 mins or so, add peas & corn, salt & pepper to your liking.
