Crab And Swiss Melts Recipe

Ingredients
  • salt & pepper to taste
  • 4 thick slices Italian bread, cut in half
  • 1 1/2 c shredded Swiss cheese
  • 1 c cooked crabmeat
  • 1 clove garlic, sliced
  • 1 tbsp sliced fresh parsley for garnish
  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
  • hot pepper sauce to taste

Directions
  • Step #1 Preheat the oven to 425F degrees F (220 degrees C).
  • Step #2 Beat the cream cheese in a medium bowl until fluffy.
  • Step #3 Mix in crab, salt, garlic, pepper & hot sauce.
  • Step #4 Spread onto bread slices & top this with Swiss cheese.
  • Step #5 Place on a baking sheet.
  • Step #6 Bake for 10 to 15 mins in the preheated oven, until the cheese has melted & browned slightly.
  • Step #7 Sprinkle top with parsley, & serve.
