Seared Red Snapper With Ginger, Garlic And Cilantro Soy Sauce Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 (6 oz) red snapper fillets .
  • 2 tbsps fresh cilantro, finely sliced .
  • 2 oz sesame seeds .
  • 1 oz water .
  • 1 tsp ground ginger .
  • olive oil, to coat pan .
  • 1 tsp fresh garlic, minced I presume .
  • 2 oz sesame seed oil .
  • 1 oz soy sauce .
  • cornstarch, for dredging

Directions
  • Step #1 Dredge fish in cornstarch to coat.
  • Step #2 Heat the olive oil to hot, in an appropriate sized pan, & cook (fry) the fish until just done, about 2-3 mins.
  • Step #3 Remove fish from pan & set aside.
  • Step #4 Heat sesame oil in the pan until steaming.
  • Step #5 Add ginger & garlic.
  • Step #6 Apply this mixture over fish.
  • Step #7 Combine the soy sauce & water & pour over the fish.
  • Step #8 Now add the cilantro on top & then the sesame seeds (I like toast seeds for a nice flavor).
