Garlic Spaghetti Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/2 c butter .
  • 5-6 garlic cloves (sliced or minced) .
  • 3/4 c olive oil .
  • 1/2 tsp parsley .
  • 1/4 tsp oregano .
  • 1 lb linguine .
  • 1 pinch salt .
  • 1/2 tsp basil

Directions
  • Step #1 Combine the spices.
  • Step #2 While your noodles are cooking start warming a little of the olive oil & the garlic on low heat until the garlic has cooked (don't over cook or burn the garlic) & the flavors are released.
  • Step #3 Add a little butter & a little of the spices & let simmer on low for about a min while stirring.
  • Step #4 Keep repeating the steps until everything has been added.
  • Step #5 The slower you add & the longer you let simmer the better the flavor.
  • Step #6 Once the noodles are done drain & toss together.
  • Step #7 We keep it in a crock pot to keep it warm or to take to work for pot luck days! I'm sure you can add any other spices you like or add more garlic.
  • Step #8 Serving size depends on if you are using this as a side dish as we do.
